A Women's World title match has been added to the Thursday, June 1 episode of Ring of Honor TV. 

In a bout set up with an angle on this week's show, Athena will defend the ROH Women's World Championship against Kiera Hogan on next week's episode. 

After Athena defeated Promise Braxton in a Proving Ground match on this week's ROH TV show, Athena continued to attack Braxton. Hogan then ran in to make the save, dispatching Athena and posing with the Women's World title belt. 

Later in the show during a backstage promo, Athena stated that Hogan would get a title match on next week's episode.

Already announced for next week, Katsuyori Shibata will defend the ROH Pure Championship against his NJPW LA Dojo pupil Alex Coughlin.
