AEW Dynamite ratings down, ranks fourth on cable

Wednesday night's episode of AEW Dynamite averaged 833,000 viewers on TBS, down 12.7 percent from last week. It ties Dynamite's second-lowest audience of 2023 to date.

In the 18-49 demo, Dynamite finished fourth on cable with a 0.28 rating, down 15.2 percent from last week. That's Dynamite's fourth-lowest rating of the year in that category. The NBA game that went head-to-head with the show finished third on cable with 1.4 million viewers and a 0.44 demo rating, which are normal levels. 

Dynamite's ratings were down from last week in every demo with the biggest decline coming with females 12-34, which were down 25 percent.

As compared to the same week in 2022, Dynamite was down 14.9 percent in overall viewers and down 26.3 percent in 18-49.

The series premiere of AEW All Access, which aired on TBS immediately after Dynamite, finished 30th on the cable charts with a 0.11 rating in the 18-49 demo. It averaged 328,000 viewers.

The premiere of the All Access reality show originally aired as a sneak preview on Saturday night following the post-game show of NCAA March Madness. That airing averaged 738,000 viewers and did a 0.24 rating in 18-49 starting just before midnight Eastern. It had the benefit of a lead-in that averaged 2.367 million viewers and drew a 0.75 in the demo.
