Taylor on social media Wednesday explained why he didn’t come out in support for Orange Cassidy on Wednesday’s Dynamite.

“Couldn’t help Orange because I had emergency dental surgery on my dumb skull,” he wrote. “I hope Greg got me a ticket for Shazam Fury Of The Gods.”

Taylor most recently wrestled on an episode of AEW Dark: Elevation that aired on March 8, defeating Olumide and Starboy Charlie.

Cassidy wrestled Jeff Jarrett on Wednesday’s Dynamite in a match that was for the AEW International Championship, which has recently been 'leveled up' as a result of a Shazam: Fury of the Gods movie tie-in. Towards the end of the match Jay Lethal, Satnam Singh, and Sonjay Dutt all got involved in an attempt to help Jarrett win the championship. Trent Baretta came out for the save at one point, helping to get Singh and Dutt sent to the back. After an attempt to cheat by Lethal failed, Cassidy picked up the win after the Orange punch.
