Joliet Patch Article Leads To Jacoby Hamilton's Capture By Police

JOLIET, IL — Four days after Joliet Patch broke the news that 19-year-old Crest Hill motorist Jacoby Hamilton was being sued by the city of Joliet for causing a February wreck that ended the lives of a husband and wife, Hamilton was taken away in handcuffs.

Hamilton kept skipping out on his Will County Courthouse hearings, twice this month, including one of his felony gun arrests by the Joliet Police Department from last September, Joliet Patch revealed last Friday.

On Tuesday, Will County Jail records indicate Hamilton was booked into the Will County Jail at 10:19 a.m. Hamilton lives with his mother in the Pioneer Road apartments of Crest Hill. Hamilton’s February crash happened in the middle of the night, taking the lives of a 65-year-old Joliet motorist, “Buddy” Kretzler and his 59-year-old wife Roxane Holt.
