Motorcyclist Killed In Fremont Collision

FREMONT, CA — A motorcyclist was killed in a two vehicle collision on Osgood Road Wednesday evening. The victim’s name has not been officially confirmed through the coroner’s bureau.

The Fremont Police Department was notified of the crash just before 6 p.m. Officers performed life-saving measures on the victim until Fremont Fire Department personnel arrived. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.

A preliminary investigation found that the motorcyclist was traveling southbound on Osgood Road, approaching an intersection. The driver of the passenger vehicle was traveling northbound on Osgood Road and made a left turn. The motorcyclist collided with the front end of the passenger vehicle.

The driver of the passenger vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators.

Osgood Road was closed between Blacow Road and Seldon Court for several hours Wednesday night as police conducted their investigation.

This is Fremont’s sixth fatal traffic collision in 2024.
