Find Out How To Get A Free Tree For Your Yard In Bristol

BRISTOL, RI — Do you need something to beautify your backyard? Some Bristol residents will have the opportunity to get a free tree.

The town of Bristol, in partnership with the Green Infrastructure Center and the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management’s Division of Forest Environment, are running the program in three target watershed in town. The watershed include Silver Creek, Tanyard Brook, and Mt. Hope Bay between Annawamscutt and Sowams Drive.

Residents may request among the following species of trees:

Follow this link to submit your request for a free tree. Once your request has been received, a representative from the Green Infrastructure Center will contact you with information on how to receive your tree.

Town officials said trees will be available for pickup in fall 2024.
