PLEASANTON, CA — The July 4 community concert planned for Lions Wayside Park has been canceled, according to a member of the Pleasanton Lions.
“The committee who organizes the Independence Day celebration at Lions Wayside Park decided to cancel due to the extreme heat. We were just notified of this cancellation yesterday afternoon,” Pleasanton Lions Secretary Pam Grimes told Patch in an email.
Grimes said she has not heard anything about rescheduling.

Patch is awaiting further information from organizer Make A Difference For Pleasanton.
