A Developer's $7M Offer To Burr Ridge

BURR RIDGE, IL – The Burr Ridge village government stands to get one big benefit if it approves a proposed commercial development – a new public works building.

Bridge Industrial has proposed a mix of industrial buildings and townhomes for the 110-acre CNH Industrial site at 6900 Veterans Boulevard.

The developer proposes a land swap with the village to extend Veterans Boulevard. It further says it would construct a new public works building at its cost as a “community contribution.”

Bridge estimates the investment for the public works building to be at least $7 million.

The new public works facility would be next to the village’s water tower, which Bridge says would provide convenience and access. The building also would have access to Harvester Drive.
