Passenger Ejected, Killed During Crash In Camden County: Police

CAMDEN, NJ — A passenger was ejected and killed during a crash last week in Camden County, officials said.

Police were dispatched at about 5:45 a.m. Friday for a one-car collision at Crescent Boulevard (Route 130 southbound) and Terrace Avenue, officials said. The intersection is near the Camden-Pennsauken border.

A black Chevrolet Camaro came to a complete stop after hitting a tree, Jerusalem Furniture (a business on S Crescent Boulevard) and other unspecified objects, authorities said.

The passenger died from his injuries during the crash, according to a spokesperson for the Camden County Police Department.

The driver was alert and conscious. Officials took them to Cooper University Hospital.

Authorities haven’t disclosed the identities of anyone involved. The crash remains under investigation.
