The new farmers market, located at 90 Manhattan Ave. and Elm Street in Fairview, made its debut just a few hours after the board authorized it.

Feiner attended the opening day Saturday and told Patch it was “fantastic.”

He said it’s at a great location near a number of apartment buildings.

“Residents were texting their friends telling them to stop by,” Feiner said. “I think this market will become one of the best markets in the region. Every week will get better and better.”

The market says it will offer fresh produce, dairy, bread, beverages, desserts and a variety of professional small businesses that offer quality products.
