Kale Dixon is joining the cast of ABC's The Bachelorette.

Dixon signed with WWE in August 2022 and has performed on episodes of Level Up and on NXT house shows. 

ABC announced recently that Dixon, real name Caleb Balgaard, will make his national television debut later this month, but as a contestant on the Bachelorette. 

ABC's website reads:

Caleb B. might be a villain in the wrestling ring, but he couldn't be more of a softie in real life! The professional wrestler may seem tough, but he's a romantic guy who wears his heart on his sleeve. Caleb B. is extremely close with his family and is hoping to settle down and start a family of his own very soon. Caleb B. is the kind of guy who loves going above and beyond to make his partner feel special and one time even hand-carved a heart necklace out of seashells for his someone. Will Caleb B. get the fairy-tale ending that he's been hoping for with Charity? Only time will tell.

The 20th season of The Bachelorette will begin airing on June 26, 2023. Charity Lawson, who was a contestant on the 27th season of The Bachelor, will be this season's bachelorette. as she will choose between 25 contestants including Dixon. 

Dixon was one of 14 wrestlers signed last summer. Prior to trying out for WWE, he was a multi-sport athlete at South Alabama and a standout star on their baseball team. He is listed at 6-foot-3 and 209 lbs. Dixon is originally from Fenton, Michigan
