Fabrice Hawkins of RMC Sport reports this evening that Nice and Paris Saint-Germain have reached an agreement over a loan deal for the latter club’s midfield prospect Ismaël Gharbi – but the clubs are running short on time to get the deal across the line before the end of the transfer window tonight.

The Spanish youth international has one appearance in Ligue 1 this season, having turned professional with his formative club this summer. He had made his first-team debut in the previous campaign.

He has notably impressed in this season’s Youth League campaign, finding the net six times in five matches. His two other appearances for the senior side – with whom he has trained on a number of occasions as part of a selected group of young players coming through the ranks at PSG – have come in the team’s Coupe de France ties, where he has registered one asisst.
